Here's a poster for Oxford band Stornoway. Land Lovers ended up supporting on the night. The day after this gig was Record Store Day where Stornoway played a free gig in Tower Records. They were good. I liked it.

Andrew Weatherall

Here's a poster for a Andrew Weatherall DJ gig in Galway last week. Kelly's has a template they like to use, that's the strap. I'll always associate Andrew Weatherall with the remix of My Bloody Valentine's Soon that was a staple of the indie disco inthe 90s. Probably still is.

Mountain Man

A three piece female group from Vermont, USA called Mountain Man. They're getting lots of attention recently and rightly so, they're an interesting group. From their Bandcamp page "This is Amelia's 22nd birthday! Come and dance around".

James Blunt

A straightforward poster for James Blunt from 2005 before it all kicked off. Somebody must have know because I remember getting very strict instructions for this, album cover and logo. I didn't actually get the files though and still had to extract working elements from a jpg. Sure, within a year I was using the same files to do a gig in the Point Depot.

Colleen

A poster from 2007. Colleen on the Leaf label. Another album cover job. Grand though, I like it.

515 vs Trainwreck

Quickish job for the summer Friday night line up in POD. 515 is the number of the train that famously crashed in the Old Harcourt Street station and I presume Trainwreck refers to that too. So I sourced a nice mechanics gritty image and did some work on it.
