The Fluxes from Toronto are heading out for a short tour next month. They asked me to do the tour poster.

Flying Eyes

Flying Eyes poster for a gig in The Boat in Toronto from 2007. Was reminded of this today because my itunes randomly threw up their awesome song I Don't Believe. Great band, broken up now. When Flying Eyes toured Ireland they saw a bloody fight outside a pub in Kilkenny, that was the inspiration for this poster.

Sunset Rubdown

Montreal band Sunset Rubdown from 2008. I like the band logo I had to redraw for this, I like the photo (even the ott 'shopping) but that bit in the middle, ach!

Basia Bulat (again)

Basia Bulat, from Canada, makes her second visit to Dublin this week. Here's the poster, based on the lovely grainy photo on her latest album.

Large Mound / Flying Eyes

Large Mound and Flying Eyes Irish tour poster from 2007. LM is of course the band I play in and FE are a band from Toronto with my brother on drums. Posting this because I got the news that Flying Eyes are getting back together!
The poster was a bit of a laugh to do. It was a deliberate attempt to do something in the style of Maggie Taylor, pretty poor attempt but still fun.

Flying Eyes (again)

Here's the second poster I'm posting for excellent (but split up) Canadian band Flying Eyes. This was actually for their last gig before their drummer (my brother) left town for a year. I decided to post this because, yea, it's a cool poster but also because I just noticed that the same vulture image is used on the cover of Them Crooked Vultures' new album. They went down the ol' animal-head-on-human route though.

Large Mound

Another one from a few years ago, I think it was 2006. Large Mound went to Canada for a few gigs. The map of Ireland is very funny to me, maybe it looks stupid but I was cracking up when doing it. Another classic drawing by Ian lawton. Last time it was checked there is still an A0 version of this on the wall in Sneaky Dee's.
Oh, Large Mound is my band, or the band I'm in. Did that even need saying?
