Oisin Leech - Album Cover

I've been doing work for the Lost Bothers for a while now. So when Oisin did a solo album he asked me to help put the cover together. He decided on using paintings by Sinead Smyth, one on the front and one on the back. We had Sinead's whole catalogue to choose from and Oisin went with the two on the cover. In fact I can't really claim any design work on this album other than assembling it. Sinead's work is beautiful and the album is going down very well.

Oisin Leech (Photography)

A few months ago I did a photo session with Oisin Leech (The Lost Brothers) ahead of a project. Above is probably my fav photo from the session. Already photos from that session showing up online.

The Lost Brothers

Here's a photo of The Lost Brothers. It's a no-frills band pic in good light and it has been used in print and online A LOT. We went to a car breaker's yard in Monaghan and took loads of pics in places the lads wanted pics taken. Places with chaotic backgrounds. We thought we had finished when I spotted a good old white wall with nice light. We took a few photos and is one of them. It's not even framed well. Obviously I could fix that "in post" but I didn't bother. This was in the run up to their album "After The Fire After The Rain".

The Lost Brothers Discog Poster

Discography poster I put together for The Lost Brothers showing their seven albums to date. I always loved this type of poster. I remember the AC/DC one. All bands should have a discography poster. Come to think of it, I don't think this was ever used. Uses a photo I took of the band in Monaghan. Not a great pic but they liked it.

The Lost Brothers Tour Poster

The Lost Brothers, a band that stubbornly refuses to use photos of themselves on their posters. Instead of the instantly recognisable image of the two lads, they opt for scenes like the tour poster pictured here.  Which is fine. I guess, there's nothing wrong with this.

I've done plenty of these and have managed to slip in a photo once or twice, but they have been either blurred or a photo of their backs!

The Lost Brothers

Inner sleeve image from The Lost Brothers' 2020 album After The Fire, After The Rain. Photo taken very quickly one evening on the Hill Of Tara, Co. Meath. I also did the full album cover design and layout. The front cover photo was taken by Ian Lawton.

The Lost Brothers Summer Tour 2018

Tour poster for The Lost Brothers. This is the summer 2018 tour with the first few dates sold out.

The Lost Brothers

Tour poster for The Lost Brothers which is kicking off next week. New album due out tomorrow too.

Odessa Sessions

I've been doing posters for the weekly gigs in Odessa Club in Dublin for a few years now. Every year I try to give them a theme. Back in January I decided on space for this year. The most recent posters have a bit more hand drawn action in them, but that's another day's post.
