Ari Up

Sad to read about the death of Ari Up. Wasn't that long ago The Slits played in Dublin. I posted the poster at the time. Here it is.

Roy Ayers

Roy Ayers poster from December 2008. Triplex Condensed is a nice font, pity I didn't spend a few extra minutes on the tracking here. Yes, I have to show Triplex some attention soon. This could have been such a nice poster, the whole text section is far too big. It happens.

Grand Drive

Grand Drive on tour in Ireland way back in 2001. Just had a look at their myspace page and can't work out if they're still on the go or not.

Alabama 3

I was searching for Alabama 3 stuff today today and an image search found this photo in some guy's Picasa Web Album. It's a billboard I put together in 2008. I think the owner of the photo was on holiday in Ireland at the time. The band sent over tight specs for this show.

BBQ Poster

Not a music poster, here's one from 2009. It is what it is, fun.

Steve Rachmad

Poster from last May. This was Steve Rachmad doing a set for Subject at Kennedy's. Looking at it now I'm just trying to work out why I didn't take out that bar just above his glasses? Hmm.

Oliver Cole

An all original poster for Oliver Cole's gig this October. Oliver's brief was something like "paper boat, zebra, brown". I had a think about it and sketched out this. The whole thing came together nicely.

En Vogue

Really simple poster for En Vogue. A quick look at their site tells you everything you need to know. A little bit of work on the photo, then it designed itself.

Porcupine Tree

NewProg band Porcupine Tree are on tour and visit Dublin this month. Here are two posters I have prepared for the gig. One is a poster I did after some PT research and another is one that I did after getting the agent guidelines. Oh well.

Jay Brannan

Hunky New Yorker Jay Brannan plays CrawDaddy again this month. This poster uses part of a Brannan approved template but instead of using the big white "appearing here" box I did something a little more interesting while sticking to Jay's Triplex based guides. Actually I'm really just posting this fishing for hits!
