Steve Reid (RIP)

I read this morning that the drummer Steve Reid has died. I posted a nice Steve Reid poster a few weeks ago but I know I have at least two more in the archives. I spent a little while this morning trying to find them to no avail. Best I could find it this section of a larger poster from 2006 I think. This show was in the Spiegeltent as part of the Fringe Festival.

They ditched the afrobeat orchestra by this stage, back in Dublin in 2007. This is just an edited version of their Security album cover with a bloody awful info section at the bottom, yuk, what was I thinking?

Seasick Steve (2)

Seasick Steve's second visit to Ireland. Just four months after the CrawDaddy show. This time he's in the Spiegeltent which is a temporary venue set up every year for the Dublin Fringe Festival (hence the magenta section of the poster and the use of American Typewriter Bold).

The Fall (Part 1)

This is about the 4th or 5th poster for The Fall I have done. This one was as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival so I needed to get magenta in there somewhere. As far as I remember there wasn't much time to get the word out about this show, hence the super-loud design. There's a couple of changes I'd like to make now that I look at it.
