Kaleidoscope 100

The Kaleidoscope night has been running since October 2009. In February they celebrate their 100th of the regular monthly gigs. Above is a work in progress as they have more planned for this celebration evening. They've actually done more than one hundred if you count the tours and special events. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the Kaleidoscope crowd over the years. Their regular gigs have been regularly selling out these days in The Bello Bar and I hope this does well too in the bigger Sugar Club.

Kaleidoscope 2015 season launch

I've been working with the great people behind the Kaleidoscope nights for a while now. They have just launched into another season and wanted a slight change of a look. I knew I wanted the keep the logo and to go for a brighter overall poster than the previous dark ones. I carefully built this graphic and look forward to seeing how it evolves.

Kaleidoscope's 4th Birthday Party

Hard to believe I've done 51 of these posters. The Kaleidoscope night celebrates its 4th birthday in September with a special gig in The Sugar Club. Clíodhna, Kate and crew seem happy to continue with this theme and why not. The trick is to make it different every month while keeping it the same. You might notice that there is a load of squares on this one. Fourth birthday, four sides..... oh well.

How long can a theme keep going. This is the 39th poster in Kaleidoscope series. What is it? It's a monthly live classical music club. This usually happens in the comfortable surroundings of the Odessa Club but this poster is for the 3rd birthday night in The Sugar Club. Well done to Clíodhna Ryan, Kate Ellis and crew who drive this thing every month.

Kaleidoscope Night

Kaleidoscope is a monthly club happening in Odessa Club in Dublin. It is curated by the violinist Clíodhna Ryan and cellist Kate Ellis and their aim is to take classical music out of the concert hall and put on an interesting and new night of music. We've done four posters for this night so far, all variations on a simple design. They're really happy with the job, that means I am too!
